4 Countries, 8 Cities, and 8 Seperate European Gaelic Gatherings
4 Countries, 8 Cities, and 8 Seperate European Gaelic Gatherings with over 300 players in action.
Championship season may be over in European GAA but this weekend we have Charity tournaments in Niort, France and A Coruna, Galicia, Spain. We have the Adige Cup in Italy between Rovigo Gaelic Football and Padova.
We have the Nordic Blitz Tournament between Malmo, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Helsingborgs. We also have the first Championship Tournaments of the 2014 season as Liffre face off against Gwened Vannes Football Gaélique in the Brittany Cup 1/4 Final.
We also have the 1st Round of the Galician Gaelic Football League between Estrela Vermelha and Mecos Ogrobe. There is the triple friendly between Kerne, Tregor and Brest. There is also the Italian version of International Rules between Rome Australian Football Club and Rome Gaelic Football Club.
There will be 80% non-Irish players in action speaking many different languages and the one unifying factor is a love for Gaelic Games. This is the new GAA, it's Europe GAA and it's going all the way.
