Armagh's Clarke suffers setback
May 08, 2012

Armagh's Ronan Clarke
Ronan Clarke's intercounty return has been pushed back by another injury.
It's over two years now since Clarke last played a competitive match for Armagh - April 11th, 2010, to be exact - but he had been lining out recently with his club, Pearse Og, in a bid to get fit for this year's Ulster SFC.
However, the ace attacker's comeback has been temporarily halted by a twisted ankle sustained in an ACFL clash with Wolfe Tones on Friday.
The minor knock will sideline the 2002 All-Ireland winner for an additional week at a crucial time and diminishes further his already-slim hopes of being ready for the June 10th clash with Tyrone at the Athletic Grounds.
As the countdown to that match continues, Armagh faced Monaghan in a SF challenge over the weekend and they have lined up another challenge against Down on May 20th.
