Ballybay Club Notes

November 26, 2008
Seniors: Our final game of the season ended with a narrow defeat in the league final against Truagh. Despite scoring two superb goals, one from Christopher McGuinness and the other by Paul Finlay, we couldn't get ahead of a determined Truagh side, who won the game in the final minute. Although this was a disappointment, the main objective of the season was achieved with promotion back to senior ranks. Hopefully we can push on next year. Congratulations to all the lads and management of Mickey Morgan, Bonny Duffy and John McAviney. Bingo: Another good crowd at Bingo on Tuesday night. The Jackpot didn't go and is up to 55 calls next week. If anyone wants to come out and help, be it during the Bingo or helping to clean up afterwards, we would really appreciate it. AGM: The clubs AGM will be held next Sunday at 6pm in the Clubhouse. Please contact the Club Secretary in regard to nominations. Table Quiz: St Patrick's Minor team will be holding a table quiz in the Clubhouse within the next couple of weeks. See next weeks notes for more details. Good Luck: The Club would like to wish Drumhowan the best of luck in the Ulster Final on Sunday.
