Ladies management team steps aside

November 14, 2008
Outgoing Louth ladies management duo Brian Carroll and Teresa Hanratty have stepped aside, to be replaced by Dermot Agnew for the 2009 season. Ardee man Carroll and Stabannon girl Hanratty led the Wee County to one of their best campaigns in ages this year but cited "issues that arose during the latter half of the year" as their reason not to seek another term. The ladies board moved quickly to re-appoint former manager Agnew, who led Louth to the All-Ireland intermediate championship in 1999. The St Brides clubman is joined in the new-look backroom team by trainer Alo McGrath and selectors Gabrielle Clarke, Anne Fedigan, Pat Gribben and Pat Mackin.
