Updates from the Clontarf, O'Dwyers, Na Fianna, Naomh Olaf, St Brigids, Garristown, Erin go Bragh, St. Margarets, Wanderers, Lucan Sarsfields and Raheny clubs.
Clontarf
Congratulations to our Ladies section on winning the Overall Club of the Year Award at the O'Neills Dublin Ladies awards night on Fri. Team of the week are our Under 11 girls who defeated Na Dubhgall (2-5, 2-1) to reach the Championship Final. Adult Hurlers had a good 8pt league win over St Brigids (2-05, 3-11). Outstanding displays from John Devine and Ro Kenny and excellent adult debuts for minors Ciaran McSharry and Ciaran Johnson.Minor B Team beat St Vincents in the Championship with Alan Cooke scoring 2-1 and Matthew Farrelly superb. U16 Footballers finished the season with a great (3-8,1-14) draw away to Good Counsel. U11A football team lost by a point to Na Fianna in the top of the table clash. U10's had a fantastic win over St.Vincents. U16 Girls playing Cuala in Shield final on Sunday 16th at Maurs. U13 girls reached their Shield final with great wins over Scoil Ui Chonaill and Na Fianna. U10 Girls put up a good performance in a shield final but lost to a very strong Kilmacud side. www.clontarfgaa.com
O'Dwyers
O'Dwyers GAA Ladies Football team are back training every Monday night at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.
Juvenile: The Nursery skills camp is run from 11am to 12.30pm every Saturday morning and costs 2e per child. The camps are aimed at 5-8 years old and they learn about both Hurling and Football. Contact Aidan Smith or Mary Kenny for more details.

Na Fianna
Belated congratulations to the Under 16B camogie team who won the Division 3 championship recently.
Great week for U12 boysí football with wins in Division 1 v Clontarf, Division 4 v St Josephs and Division 6 v Garristown. U11 football wins over Raheny and Clontarf.
U13 boysí championship final was abandoned at half-time due to foul weather. U12 girlsí final was cancelled. Best of luck to both teams in refixed matches.
Junior hurling teams are hosting a pub quiz on Thursday, 20 November next in Na Fianna club house. Entry is Ä10 per erson ñ four to a table. All welcome. For further information contact Dee Kernan on 086-8196054.

Hard luck to our U10 Girls who were defeated by O'Tooles in the Final of the Division 2 championship on last Saturday. The girls have alot to be proud of this year having made huge progress in both the league and Championship. The team mentors would like to thank the huge travelling support who made the journey not only to the final but to all matches throughout the year. Naomh Olafs U13 footballers had a great 3-9 to 1-4 victory over Naomh Barrog in the semi-final of the C shield championship on Saturday. Well done to the team and the mentors.Our minor footballers defeated Ballyboden St Enda 4-6 to 2-6 to reach the quarter finals of the C championship and our U 21 hurlers beat St Sylvesters 0-10 to 0-3 in the B South Championship. Our Senior Footballers are in home action on Sunday at 2.30 against BSJ in an important league match. All support will be greatly appreciated by the team and its mentors There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Next week's Jackpot will be 2,000. Numbers drawn this week were 1,2 & 27. Thank to all those who supported our trad night last Friday. We will be having another such night next month. Finally well done to those members of our Juvenile section who competed for the Club in Scór na nÓg on Tuesday in Lucan Sarsfields.www.naomholaf.com
St Brigids
Big weekend of Championship wins. Our Junior "A" Hurlers reached the Championship Final with a hard fought win over St Sylvester's. They now face Naomh Barrog in the final. The Minor Footballers produced a brilliant second half display against Kilmacud Crokes to reach the Championship Final. They await the winners of the Ballyboden vs Na Fianna Semi-Final. Senior 2 Footballers face Finbarrs at 7.30pm in League this Wednesday in Russell Pk. This game is followed by our Inter 2 Footballers versus Erin's Isle at 9pm. Ladies Minor Footballers face Castleknock in the Shield Final this Saturday at 6pm in Russell Pk. Junior A Footballers face Ballyboden at 2.30pm in Russell Pk on Sunday. Club Lotto takes place in The Vineyard this Thursday with a Jackpot of E4800. Club AGM takes place on Sunday December 7th at 6pm. Kids Xmas Party will also take place on Sunday December 7th.

Hard Luck to our under 12 team who lost out narrowly to Na Fianna on Saturday. Under 9,Äôs put up a great display to win their match also on Saturday.
1st team play St Sylvesters next Sunday at 2.30 in Malahide in what could be the league decider. We would ask as many supporters as possible to travel to this match to support the lads in this very important game.
Juvenile Training continues every Tuesday evening at 6pm on the Pitch. All new players welcome.

Please put Friday November 21st in your calendar, as our new indoor mixed rules mini league is starting. It is for boys and girls born 1996 to 1998. It is a mix of Gaelic Football / Basketball Rules with the focus on FUN & SAFETY. The event is fully insured. It's about fun and making new friends. The rules have been put together to maximize FUN and Safety. All registered players are welcome to come and see a Demonstration of the game on Wed 19th Nov 6 - 7pm. We will be holding a Monster quiz in the Paddocks on Friday 28th November to raise funds for the club. The cost will be ¬40 per team of 4 which can be paid on the night and the fun starts at 9pm. St. Margarets
The club AGM takes place in the complex on Thursday 27th November, we urge all paid members for the year to attend. There is a committee meeting this Thursday 13th November, all committee members to attend as it is the last day for nominations to be made for the AGM. There are still some important positions to be filled on the committee so anyone interested in any way please contact a member of the executive committee as soon as possible. Congrats to Willie Roche and Julie-anne on the birth of their lovely baby boy Kaylum, last Friday. The club will be holding an end of year centenary celebrations night in the Coolquoy Lodge on St. Stephens night, tickets will be issued shortly. The club mass is on Thursday 20th November in the complex, with it being the centenary year the club would like all playing and non playing members to attend. Wanderers U-16: Training for our new Under 16 team will start this Thursday (13/11/08) at 7:00PM in Frank Kelly Park. All welcome to attend. The Wanderers end of season party and Award night will take place in the Merry Ploughboy on Saturday November 29th, tickets for this event are limited so anyone who would like tickets please contact any Committee member as soon as possible. AGM: The AGM will take place on Thursday December 4th in the clubhouse. All proposals/nominations should be sent to the secretary as soon as possible. 25,Äôs cards takes place in the club every Friday night starting at 9:00PM. All welcome to take part. A glorious weekend for our Juvenile football teams this past weekend, with the U13Bs capturing the 'C' Championship; the U13As taking the 'A' Shield and the U15s also taking the 'A' Shield. Our Senior footballers play the 'B' Championship semifinal tomorrow Wednesday in Balgriffin at 8 pm. Our U21 start their Championship campaign against Cuala in the 12th Lock on Saturday at 2.30 pm. Tickets for our Annual Christmas Draw are now being distributed to all players. Your help in selling these is needed as this is our most important fundraiser of the year. Nominations are now being taken for the 2008 Club Person of the Year Award. The final heat of Juvenile Sars Stars is on Sunday next with four more entrants from 5pm in the Clubhouse. Our third in the series Table Quiz takes place next Wednesday (19th) with Gerry Mescall in the chair. Condolences to the Tallon family on the passing of Fintan, father of Cillian, and grandfather to Adam and Matthew. Three clicks and you can enter our Lotto online at www.lucansarsfields.ie.
