Sligo have announced a revamp of the county’s senior football management team for next season.

Having been appointed as a joint-manager with Eamonn O’Hara a little over 12 months ago, Dessie Sloyan now takes sole charge of the Yeats men while O’Hara will serve as the team’s assistant manager.

Former Tyrone star Joe McMahon comes into the set-up as head coach, having won two All-Ireland SFC titles as a player and one as coach when the Red Hands last lifted the Sam Maguire Cup in 2021.

Ex-Longford ace Mickey Quinn has been brought in as Performance Coach, while McMahon’s Omagh St Enda’s clubmate Des McGuinness is the Yeats men’s new goalkeeping coach.

Donegal’s Eamon McGee and Paul Higgins of Shamrock Gaels both remain part of the backroom team, with Con O’Meara departing the set-up.
