The Connacht GAA air dome which was destroyed by Storm Eowyn last year is set to reopen next month.
The dome’s cover was ripped apart during the storm, but a new one arrived at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan on Monday and will be erected over the coming weeks. The 4G pitch continued to be used without its cover up until November.
Connacht GAA posted online: “Momentous day at the COE today as the new Dome was delivered all the way from Slovenia! Excited for the building process to continue in the next few weeks and what’s to come!”
