Kilmessan 1-25 Na Fianna 0-19

Kilmessan opened up a three point gap at the top of the senior hurling championship table after this nine point win over struggling Na Fianna in round 4 at Batterstown. Trim and Kiltale lead the chasing pack. These two meet on Sunday at Dunganny. 

The sides were level 1-7 to 0-10 at the end of the opening quarter, Jack Cottrell with the games only goal after seven minutes. The winners outscored Na Fianna 0-7 to 0-3 before the break and took a 1-14 to 0-13 lead to the dressing room.

Kilmessan take on Kildalkey in their last round, Na Fianna face Kiltale.
