Clann na nGael 0-22 Kilskyre Moylagh 1-11

With some injuries to cover on the Sunday some key players had to be rested so this was going to be a stretch for Kilskyre Moylagh in their opening match of the J2HC and that proved to be the case.

However, with only three points separating the sides at the interval the away side might have found a way but in fairness to Clann na nGael you could see they had a bit more hurling done as a team following their first-round defeat to Donaghmore Ashbourne to push on in the second have to secure an eight-point win.
