Killyon 4-9 Navan O'Mahony's 1-8

Killyon booked their place in the Senior B Final with a win over Navan O'Mahonys in Dunganny on Saturday.

Despite playing with the wind in the first half Killyon were finding it hard to get scores on the board with the first point coming from David Raleigh after eight minutes. Scores were level at the seventeen minute mark 2pts each. Navan O'Mahonys then scored a goal to edge them ahead but Killyon scored a further 3pts and unlucky not to have scored a goal just before half time went in at half time level 5pts to 1.2. The second half started much better for Killyon with Dylan Farrell finding the net in the first minute quickly followed by a point from David Raleigh. Dylan Farrell stretched the lead for Killyon when he got on the end of long ball in from Keith Keoghan to score his second goal of the day. Both teams added to the scoreboard and at the fifteen minute mark Killyon were ahead by 4pts. Killyon playing much better now added a few points from play to stretch their lead again. Dylan Farrell added two more goals before the final whistle to see Killyon winning out on a scoreline of 4-9 to 1-8
