Kiltale 3-25 Kildalkey 2-14
Kiltale made it a double of weekend victories with a comprehensive win over Kildalkey in Navan on Sunday following the Junior side’s semi final win on Saturday.
An early goal from Ferghal McCabe set the tone as Kiltale went on to dominate the first half.
The side in maroon kept the pressure on throughout and despite an early Kildalkey goal in the second half the response was positive with an immediate point from Jack Regan, Kiltale then went on to score the next three points.
A superb Peter Durnin goal and a fortuitous goal from Mark O’Sullivan settled the issue to put the nine time champions in control.
Kildalkey struck late with a goal in injury time put a gloss on the scoreline but there was no doubting the winners from early in the second half.
Kiltale now go on to meet Na Fianna in the SHC quarter finals.
