It's in your own hands today MAYO. As I said no excuses as I think this team is good enough to win today and the final SamOnErrigal (Donegal) - Posts: 1427 - 30/08/2015 13:28:50 1777930Link 0 |
| I hope I don't jinx the match but I think this will be the game of the year. It is hard to pick a winner from these 2 excellent teams but I think Mayo will just shade it. I was impressed with Mayo against Donegal, not the fact that they won the game but the way they did it, no fuss just got the job done. | The ref seems to be togging out for Dublin today. Very frustrating from a neutral point of view. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 30/08/2015 15:40:46 1777978Link 0 |
| Poor enough start, a lot of pulling and dragging going on. Mayo look a bundle of nerves, if they don't get into the game soon Dublin could win this quite handily. Two poor decisions by Joe McQuillan, wasn't a penalty, fouled outside the rectangle and Dublin player should have got a black card in the first few minutes for dragging a player down. Lot of oul nonsense going on off the ball too. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9838 - 30/08/2015 15:46:52 1777980Link 0 |

| Mayo getting absolutely nothing from McQuillan. Aiden O'Shea fouled by 3 Dublin players and he gets penalised!! Referee seems to be caving into the Dublin crowd. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9838 - 30/08/2015 15:56:53 1777993Link 0 |
| Mayo lucky to be only 4 points down after 23 minutes. Why are they not pushing up on the Dublin kick outs? Cluxton has kicked it short to a corner-back every time. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 1041 - 30/08/2015 15:58:05 1777995Link 0 |
| To be fair to the ref he is bringing the ball forward for Dublin indiscipline each time. In real time I felt the trip for the peno was inside the box the same as the ref did, so I wouldn't blame him for giving it. frankbhoy77 (Antrim) - Posts: 1300 - 30/08/2015 16:01:16 1777996Link 0 |

| Joe McQuillan totally capitulaing to Dublin now. Clear black card there for dragging a man down and a hand on the shoulder stopping Aiden O'Shea. Mayo will feel very aggrieved and angry. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9838 - 30/08/2015 16:05:55 1778002Link 0 |
| Once more we say the fatal flaw in the stupid black card rule. Tug of Jersey not a black card unless the player tugged goes to ground so no advantage for a player to stay on his feet, and they wonder why there is more diving in the game!M tearintom (Wexford) - Posts: 1583 - 30/08/2015 16:06:25 1778005Link 0 |
