2 years ago laois ran Dublin to 1 or 2 pints.
Laois should have won that day, laois have improved since even though they were the better team on the day.
Kingston will give Roger o Carroll a run around croker, Kingston is now a fit man , he has not been fit since minors.

im putting a ton on laois to win by four

It is a shame that more from Laois don't post here but for whatever reason; few really do.

Just to say as well; Red Carrot is not a Laois man. He comes on from time to time with outlandish statements like those just given and generally sulks back away when nobody rises to his shite...

On the match itself; it's hard to see Laois holding Dublin but we do have a few things that give us hope.

We are a little light on quality at the back and will surely try flood the area. If our full-back line get isolated then we're in big trouble.
At midfield, O' Loughlin and Meaney are a decent pairing. They're dynamic, athletic and dovetail nicely together. If they push up on Cluxton's kick-outs it will be interesting. Our own keeper is a rookie but is highly though of and has a game-intelligence that our previous incumbent (although excellent in '12!!) just lacked.

Up front, we have players who can score but can we get them on the ball close to goal? Hard to know.
Munnelly has been a fantastic servant and is still crucial for us and Kingston and Meredith have the potential to kick some fine scores from range. As, it must be said, can our half-backs, particularly Darren Strong. My worry would be that Kingston will be isolated too close to goal and although much fitter than in previous years, his mobility wouldn't be his biggest asset. We'll need him on oceans of ball if we're going to cause an upset.

The bookies are usually on the ball though I do think the odds at the minute are a bit harsh on us. Man for man, we'd have somewhere between 3-9 players who would make the Dublin panel. Dublin have the form, the players and the bench but it's still a championship game and hopefully the game under our belts will help.

I'd love to see us in the game with 20 minutes to go and see what happens. I would be concerned that we could leak goals early and that could see things turn easily.

A lot of Laois fans aren't travelling and I'd say numbers are going to be low. It's been expensive enough following the Hurlers of late and with the match on tv, I think we will see a poorish Laois crowd.

well summed up Merman.

I cant see a big turnout in croke park sunday, even Dublin supporting mates of mine who live in Portlaoise are not bothering to go and will watch it on a barstool instead, as of course some laois support will do also...the match being on tv will not help with numbers.

All signs point to a convincing Dublin victory .They have a wonderfully talented ,balanced panel of seasoned performers who should will not relent on putting score after score on the board . Laois are still hard to make out . The last two years they were beaten by small margins to the then All Ireland Chanmpions , Dublin and Donegal respectievely playing a ultra -defensive game . They have decent forwards in Munnelly and Kingston who given the chance may cause a problem or two . The guy Healy is a huge loss to Laois but alas I think Dublin regardless who Laois have playing will have ten points to spare at the end .I dont think Dublin will take Laois for granted for a second but if Laois are still in it with 20 mins to go Dublin have the resources to step it up a gear something Laois dont have .

Merman, the reason laois support do not post on here in any great numbers is not because of lack of interest but it is because they post elsewhere, not for much longer mind, so expect all of them to come across to hogan stand very soon.

At the risk of offending any of the Dubs, you have done very well in the last couple of years without a full back, don't rate him at all.
