Some amount of myths around this Donegal side. All these stories and all they're doing is preparing the same as everyone else. There is some amount of rubbish spouted about them. They tend to go unchecked on a lot of the darker arts and half-tackles. Mouthing and standing too close to free takers. All deliberate per-meditated tactics. I can see why Donegal posters and those associated with the panel like to talk up all this training lark but it seems once you win the All-Ireland all this other stuff gets brushed under the carpet and you're free to write your own place in history as you see fit.

With regards to the fitness thing i think that jack o connor was right in his book when he said that northern teams advertise themselves well.No one is questioning their fitness (which is extremely high Ive no doubt) but Brolly said before the All Ireland last year that Donegal have reached peak fitness. That was a total exaggeration. He spoke in glowing terms about Armagh (one all ireland) during the last decade yet dismissed Kerry (4 all Irelands) as chokers. If Kerry were a Northern team he would have been gushing with praise about them and their fitness and bigging up their training regime.

The panel's on RTE are set up to be controversial, they get more ratings that way,
people tune in to watch these guys go at it.
In fact of these lads on the sunday game aren't trashing a county, its because that
county aren't worth trashing! Galway for example!
Stop your whining and move on!!

Cork are starting to get on top here. 20 minutes since Donegal have last scored.

You can be controversial without being hypocritical TheGatekeeper.Praising a team who won one all Ireland and mocking a team who won four is not controversial. It is hypocritical and quite frankly, stupid.Sorry if that annoys you.
When you say galway arent worth trashing, are you talking about our footballers,or our hurlers? Were a dual county you see.

People in the Gaa seem to think its still 2007 Mournearmy. Its outrageous the amount of money county boards are spending. There may be trouble ahead.

It doesn't annoy me in the slightest joncarter,
but it obviously annoys you! Maybe I'm wrong,
but I thought every county was a duel county,
bar Kilkenny of course! ;)

Of course it annoys me TheGateKeeper. Its disrespectful to the teams involved.Im sure you get annoyed when Spillane gives out about Ulster football, even if you wont admit it.
Good luck in your battle for Sam.........and Liam?

Dublin missing alot of players, wouldn't be that surprised to see a Tyrone win.

Michael Murphy through on goal with a few minutes left and rugby tackled from behind just outside the box. And here was me thinking it was Ulster teams doing all the cynical stuff...
