They are definitely not showing the remainder of the all-Ireland series in either senior codes. Now The BBC have switched off the regional variations of their channels unless the TV has HD capabilities so people who have not upgraded to HD will not be able to access BBC Northern Ireland on their TV. I don't think they can access it on BBC Iplayer either . perhaps you are correct about club games but the main reason most neutrals subscribe to the service is to see the county games and the All-Ireland in particular. As far as I'm aware the BBC has only ever shown Ulster championship games and has never shown games past the Ulster final. Totally agree, the issue, IMO, the only issue, is cherry picking games, and their performance at the Dail Committee. They did not answer that nor even address it. We got a fog of nothing." Of course they cherry picked games. Hard to sell subscriptions if they left all the top games on RTE. When RTE are a GAAGO partner it's hard not to think they sorted the cherries between them. When they sort out the RTE debacle and scrap the licence, make them sing for their supper, we can use €60 for GAAGO if we think it's worth it in the same way we subscribe for Netflix, Disney, Sky Sports, BT Sport etc. Their coverage is far better than RTEs. Probably because they need to have a decent product to get subscribers in. RTE TV have no such motivation to make their GAA content better. when you hear the property tax and later the water tax excuse type being offered up by Gaa as to defending Gaa Go as in "we will be able to put on MORE games on free to air from the profits made on GAA GO"...I really knew I heard a similar justification in other areas of Irish politics before and then I remembered... I may be in the minority, but personally I am very happy with GAA Go. Cost €59 at the start of the year for the early bird package. Canceled my Sky Sports package over the summer as I had no need for it. With GAA go, you can log into the same account on two separate devicies so both myself and my father share it - a cost of €29.50 each for the year. There were two Westmeath matches shown on GAA go that otherwise would not have been on TV. We even watched one match while abroad which we wouldn't have been able to do in previous years. gaa go is the best thing ever, u can see several games at weekend, to hell with all the lads just to mean to pay it, when i was a chap there was no more than 5/6 live games on a year with the railway cups, the wor;d changes, things move on, and all the whinging on here or twitter wont change that, most people dont go to mass on a sunday morning, not rear as many go to the local any more, u dont have the 13 year old managers son standing in at no. 15 for the local teams league to make up a team, as i said things move on, there are so so many games on now compaired with the past, ud need 4/5 tv stations to cover them, as it is the munster hurling isis lost their heads when one game was not covered, god they are so full of their own self importance its funny ,the munster hurling cship played in one corner of the 121 st biggest country in the world Stmunnsriver (Wexford) - Posts: 2843 - 14/07/2023 22:42:35 2494436 Link

The problem I have with gaago is that very little places have it to watch.
