Strange one that, I was in the home of an ex Carlow player yesterday who won his medal in 1994, he keeps it in a mug on the dresser, in a mug of all places, it's taken out passed around and sometimes the grand kid's will bring it home for a while and bring it back, and it is still in perfect condition, he told me it belongs to the family, not just himself.
