not surprised at that, bar the odd thumping Kilcoo handed out last year all the county champions are their on merit, never more than 2 or 3 points between teams , but i think Carrickmore will have something to say about that

Think last year was a wake up call for Errigal. Dromore won Tyrone but I felt Errigal were better placed to give Ulster a run. Hope this year they can get over the line against Carrickmore and do that . Looking forward to the Tyrone final and then Ulster club. All we need now is dry Sundays.

Hopefully dry Sundays , for sure In fact i was in the Armagh the last time Errigal won Ulster, they beat Downpatrick that day, But as i said any one of the County champs could win Ulster, Having watched Kilcoo over this past number of years i do think the edge is off them slightly, but wouldent bet against them

Of course , as you are aware, there is. But given the relative strength , participation levels and overall interest between football and hurling in Ulster, I do think our Ulster colleagues are entitled to refer to the football championship as "THE Ulster championship" with the hurling being referred to as "The Ulster hurling championship". Some Aye especially Derry and Armagh but you have to go for your own. All teams are there on merit so game on. Something to look forward to.

We do the fellas think the football is more important than the hurling. Tbh football is shocking to watch would put you to sleep only my opinion

Slaughtneil have been doing very well recently Dunloy cushendall my own club Portaferry aren't a bad outfit loughgeil

Primarily In Antrim, and a handful of clubs in other counties. I've huge respect and admiration for the game, and even bought a hurl once down in Kilkenny. Not sure why tbh. But I wave it about in the back yard occasionally, when nobody is looking. But I've never been to a hurling match in my life. A low point was a fair few years ago, at Omagh, there was a double header, Tyrone footballers playing first and then Tyrone hurlers. Once you bought your ticket, it covered both games. Never forgot it. As the football game finished, and as our own hurlers were coming out on to the pitch, the first thing they saw was thousands of Tyrone fans streaming out of the gate. Even when we were already in our seats, and were in good humour after winning the football, and with no ticket to buy, we still all got up and left instead of watching our own hurlers.
