Replying To legendzxix:  "Roscommon brought good support for the league finals. Mayo and Roscommon are the reason both games are in Croke Park.
I'd be in favour of provincial grounds myself but it is understandable that the GAA want to showcase these games in Croke Park. Wimbledon has show courts. The GAA have showcase stadia."
The genuinely think that they will get 35'000 at the Croke Park Double header - once they get over 25000 they are making money straight to HQ

If you go to provincial grounds you have to pay the local county board - it's all the GAA but some units are more important than others.

You have no chance of getting a family from Mayo to travel to Dublin for a 6pm game on a Sunday
All the Mayo students are out of Dublin for the Summer.
Won't be a big Mayo crowd and the Kildare/Mayo crowd won't turn up for the first game - and the Clare/Roscommon crowd will be out before the 2nd match

They might sell 35000 but they won't have anymore than 25000 in at once

It will be a ghost town - there aren't even many bars around Croker now so there will be no atmosphere at all

Now if you had Mayo v Kildare at 4:00pm in tullamore with the minor match before it- they we are talking a full house and tullamore hopping all day.

You couldn't play Clare v Roscommon in Salthill either due to traffic (the sooner Galway sell that place fire housing the better).
I'd stick them on in Tullamore the day after too
