Absolutely delighted for Ronan getting a well deserved all star, even if I am a little biased.
Also brilliant to see an award coming to the north of the county after our brothers in the south have carried the mantle for so long.

Replying To Matthew:  "The Downs have a lot of injuries and I'm sure they will not underestimate Clonguish.."
A few injuries might bring Clonguish into the game, who is rumoured to be out?

I hope Scahill is given time and patience. You can see with Jack Duncan and Shane Corcoran it takes a year or two to find your feet. Kealan Connell for me could be a dark horse, very impressive year in the Senior Championship, I think I read somewhere he was the top scorer from play. He has pace to burn and a similar type of player to his clubmate Whittaker.

Johnny Lynam will start you would think when available. Conor Dillon I'd say will be a nailed on starter too.

More or less a full team, not sure where the other man got word that the downs are missing a few but think it's fake news.

Thats a fair strong panel for preseason. I would like to see lads from fringes of last years panel, a few of last years starters, some lads up from 20s and lads who stood out in club championships. I would leave most of last years team to get ready for League. Have to hit that competition well this year and get up and out of Division 3
