Can you be more clear? Are you just saying YOU wouldn't be surprised if players opt back in if Dessie is gone or are you aware of real issues. We're really talking about Brian, Jack and Paul, so are you aware of specific issues between any of these three and Dessie or are you just speculating ("rumour-milling")?

So the state of the pitch in the Neller is due to vandalism. FFS....

Declan, Ger, Pat, Mick, Robbie, another....?"
Darcy would be the one for me unless we can somehow entice our own Jimmy back for stint no.2 ;) Can't ever see that happening with Gavin but Gilroy would also be a great man to manage this team through transition but again not sure he would return. If Ger wins a Leinster title this year then he will undoubtedly throw his hat in the ring if or when the opportunity presents itself. I'd b relatively happy with that IF he had a Gilroy or the likes in the background.

If and it is a big if, Louth beat Meath, then I would go for Ger tbh.
With a strong background team, I think he would definitely improve us.
Even having Pat in there as an advisor would be of huge benefit. Look at 2023...!

Jeez SOME of these kerry folk are still smarting over the SIX IN A ROW arent they..... lol
Unbelievable....

We started it by beating them and finished the run beating them also.
I am not sure which is still hurting them the most though, the joy of 6 or 2023...

It just keeps niggling away at them. I love it.
Their begrudgery and sense of entitlement is off the charts.

Anyway enough about them - this is a DUBLIN page....
Back to much more important things..... thoughts on the group stages lads.?

By the sounds of it we should have 4 or 5 lads back for those games.
Not sure we will see Lee this season though, which is a massive shame.
I think he is a super player but that injury is very similar to the one Flynner got a few years ago, which is not a good sign.

Dessie has a hell of a lot of work to do to try turn this around and no easy games in which to do it

I think we will see Bugler back in the next day (minor enough niggle), Murchan is being managed by all accounts in training games but not just quite ready yet and I've heard Lee is doing well in his recovery with a return to action not as far off as some might think ;)

What would your ideal starting XV be IF we had say all but Gannon back?

Janey Fionn your disdain of Kerry will eat you up inside.Yes this is the Dublin page but its public for all posters.I like to read it and post and same with other threads.

You say on one post something like "thats why we hate you ." In Dublin we say anyone but Kerry".Well thats your feelings but a Kerryman captained Dublin to an All Ireland years aho.In fact a good few Kerrymen won All Irelands with Dublin as did many country folk.

Do you hate Brian Fentons Dad? or Cian O Sullians parents?
I understand a few posters from Kerry are less than gracious towards Dublin but its a two way street.I have come across horrible Dub fans too but I dont hate all cos of some.
P.s.What happened in Parnell park was terrible but id be fairly confident the hooligabs that did it were nt from Kerry.Chances are Fionn they are one of your own.
We not all bad in the Kingdom you know!

Steo, Davy, Theo, Murch, Sean, John, Cian, CK, Tom, Niall, Brian, Con, Cormac, Eoghan, Luke.

Lorcan, Paddy, Colm to come into the forwards.

But we have a massive problem in defence and midfield subs though.
I am excluding Lee as you say.

Looked terrible but walked across it at the end of match last week and it had no impact on the surface. Looked terrible from above. Wonder what creatures were responsible for it.

Certain, actually quite a few, of your county folk fully deserve it Mick.

Of course it was one of our own who damaged PP.

I dont blame kerry for all that is happening in the world you know, even though it might look like I do..... lol ;o)

But the begrudgery coming from down there considering you are still well on top on the pile with Al Ireland wins etc is, how do I put it, less than gracious or what should be expected of the nice people of kerry.

I am not going to back on all this again, but the venom shown on the Hill when we were beating you, is very different to how we have taken defeat to kerry through the years. I think 2010 was fine but the 5 in a row and after changed a lot.

Let's just leave it at that.

Of course we have undesirable fans - every county does. But the lack of respect shown by many kerry folk to Dublin's success was off the charts. For what it is worth, I think how a county with a smallish population like kerry, are AI contenders nearly every year is more than remarkable. I respect what ye have done and continue to do, but how ye reacted to the recent level of success took me aback. We are nowhere near your record but still talk about putting fecking * beside our wins and all that rubbish. Like come on....

Anyway, we have both said our piece...

ps I will still spend my hard earned money in kerry on hols... lol ;o)

On a side note - do you think there are parallels with Jack & Dessie.?
I actually do.

Why would you even do such a thing - ffs.

Hopefully the CCTV will catch them. Probably locals but you never know I guess.

It is like the yobbo's driving onto a pitch and ruining it for laughs - gaa and soccer pitches.
Bonkers.

Mick,

I am not being rude - I did actually write up a long, measured and funny reply but for some reason it is not showing.

Anyway, all is good. ;o)

So do you see any parallels between Dessie and Jack.?
I think there are plenty.

Surely Jack has to win Sam this year or he is gone.?

Yes both have done it at minor under 21 and senior and yes Jack will def be gone this year if we dont win.Id say he will go regardless.Tbh I know Kerry favourites but in my eyes I think Galway abd Donegal the top two with then Armagh Tyrone Kerry on a par and then Dubkin Mayo.
Kerry have nt embraced the two pointers and that could be our downfall.

I think its a very exciting race though and any of those teams can win imo.

I think Kerry or Galway.
Not sure Galway will be going full throttle in the provincial final - they are preparing for a right auld tilt at Sam, and keeping Comer & Walsh under wraps and not risking them.
Not so sure about Donegal - not a lot between Donegal, Armagh & Tyrone..

I think from a Dublin perspective - hopefully performances will improve and we are better prepared next season for the new rules and improving teams, and an extra year under the belts for the newbies and main injuries cleared up.

Definitely keeping a close eye on Ger Brennan for the rest of this season.

If Dessie does gp then Ger Brennan will certainly be in the mix .

Galway want 4 in a row walsh was injured maybe not risking comer but Galway and Mayo hate loosing to each other. Galway will go for it on Sunday . Love the way no mention of mayo is well totally under the radar which is great to be fair ...

Galway won't win Sam this year I'd say they will get knocked out in a semi .
It will go back North either to Donegal or Armagh again.

Cant see Armagh doing it again tbh.

Top 3 in order I think are Kerry Galway & Donegal.
Nothing much to split Armagh and Tyrone.
Mayo not far behind,
