Bon it's a very expensive day out now in limerick..all under 16s had to have tickets,it was only €2 but if people are going every weekend for 5 or 6 weeks this adds up..also tickets had to be bought online nothing at the gate on the day...

Replying To CTGAA10:  "County final last Sunday was €20 for adults,€15 for students and papa..not sure about under 16s..I do know there was a €2 charge for every child attending games since championship started,I've a huge problem with this..also all tickets in limerick have to be bought on line, nothing at the gate on the day..no more making mind up an hour before hand..also all games juinor, inter and senior up to semi finals at least were €10..I'd be in agreement of weekend tickets with say €25/€30 for any game you want to go to see over a weekend..I'm looking forward to hearing about gate receipts in limerick for this year because I'd expect them to be way up due to tickets having to be bought online.."
You could still but your Limerick club tickets online an hour before could still decide to go last minute

That's a fair point, I just still think that its still good value when you look how expensive other social activities are. Cinema isn't cheap nor is going for a few drinks. I understand that over a few weeks it can all add up especially for families etc.

€20 for a senior final is good value in my opinion but too much for earlier round games. Its rare now you go to any event where you will get great value like that. The value of €20 isnt what it was. Think of what you get for that these days. For example - I paid that last night for a taxi journey after having a few pints! Give me the county final for value any day over that!

Any OAPs students discounts? The price of the program for our Intermediate and senior finals was 5€ each. Increase of 1€ but still good value especially the senior one with 80 pages.

15 euro in Carlow today which included a junior football final if in early... Great value if a Rathvilly fan as they were not fancied at all. It went to 15 for senior football games earlier and there was consternation and many stayed away and it went back to 10 euro and there was a slight increase in numbers going in at the stiles.

Ya €20 for a final is grand, and probably €5 for a program, let's hope there isn't another lockdown or we could be watching from the couch.

It was €10 and €5 for OAP's in O' Connor Park yesterday, a 50% reduction on the first day. Programmes were reduced to €2. This was a standalone fixture.
