Westmeath Hurling thread

Liam Griffin's proposal is a simple, practical first step toward reviving and expanding hurling, our national sport. It offers a clear pathway to grow participation and build momentum by putting hurls into every child's hand up to11. The failure of headquarters to act on this only raises serious questions- it reflects a reluctance at the top, where some in Gaelic football circles seeming to fear the growth and influence of hurling more than any other sport. If we're serious about our games, we should be backing ideas like this, not ignoring them.

Might be different if Plunketts or Delvin won division 1 but Raharney are regular winners, they're playing Clonkill in championship in 2-3 weeks so Ciaran Doyle prob more focused on that.

So meaningless enough win you're saying.
Be nice to thank the ref and County Board all the same for the final and for running the leagues?

Where did I say meaningless? I tried to offer an opinion as to why they didn't make a speech. Chill a bit
