Replying To Midlandsman:  "Purely theoretical but let's say if a senior amalgamation of Plunkets and cullion was formed how would they fair in the Senior A grade or even if you threw crooked wood into the mix also. Just a bit of fun and something that for some reason popped into my head today. As they'd have plenty of quality all over the park so would they be able to put it upto the Castletown and raharneys of this world"
The likes of Kevin Regan, Conor Regan, the Craig brothers, Davy Gavin and Matthew Cunningham would have difficulty here, already playing and training with senior football and hurling clubs let alone a third team.

Seen our lads training last night they were motoring well, will bring a big fight to Castletown… Will be tight

Maybe so, there's a couple of tight games in it and form can change, but based on what I've seen so far I don't think it's too far off.
But which ones in particular, easy to make a fleeting comment like that without actually offering a real opinion. What's your predictions?

How likely are Mitchell or Loughlin to play for Clonkill the weekend does anyone know?

Luke is back doing training but all non contact. You'd imagine he'll have a bit of time on the sidelines yet

Heard he's seriously considering going to the county hurling next year

and that Bulfin is recruiting from the minor and U20 management teams

No the county board are looking for new management for both minors and u20s, so their could be some truth to it. As for Luke Loughlin, it seems we hear that rumour every year and I'd expect him to stay with the footballers. However, he has the luxury of the option of both given his talent. Who knows maybe he wants to give it a shot for the year, he'd certainly be some addition.

I'd heard Kevin had stepped down but didn't see anything official? Could be just rumours after the senior interview process

Is Damien Gavin gone? Hadn't seen that either

Two good battles in the park yesterday. Delvin minus Josh Coll edging out 14 man Fr Daltons, these two should be at the business end of the championship along with Ringtown.
Castlepollard 3 point winners over Plunketts, looked like it could have ended a draw as it neared the end of the game. Darragh McCormack was near unplayable and had quiet a few moments of brilliance that were worth the admission fee alone.
Still, Pollard can be looking over their shoulder now as they are closer to Senior B than contesting for a Senior A championship. They need to get back injured players, players that are away and try get through a couple more from underage.
Plunketts battled hard, they are just above the other clubs at Senior B but not quiet there yet for Senior A. They have plenty of talent coming through which they are waiting on. They'll be relegated this year but I've a feeling the next time they come up they'll hold their place.

Castlepollard survive relegation for the 2nd year running, so we think there will ever be a time where one of LLG, pollard or Clonkill go down?

Great first game in cusack today some goal from Loughlin. Watched on Iarmhi Tv. Thought could have charged €12 for 2 games instead of having to buy each game separately for €10 each.

Of course, Pollard as previous poster pointed out are a lot closer to relegation than competing for top three spot. They're missing Charlie McCormack and Andrew Dermody and David Devine has emigrated and their strength in depth is limited. First game in Cusack today was fantastic stuff, Mick and Brendan Murtagh have done great work with Clonkill, they still need to beat the Gaels to qualify but beating Raharney with a young team and minus Darragh Egerton is great confidence boost. Luke Loughlin will be sought after by Bulfin and new football manager, he was some threat today. Oisin Loughlin was immense and Niall Mitchell. Clonkill's younger players had no fear. John Shaw won't be too worried apart from concession of four goals. Castletown were missing key players and still too good for the Gaels, Peter Clarke and Niall O' Brien were excellent and Aaron Glennon in defence. The Gaels only scored 2-10 including a consolation late penalty and replaced three or four of their forwards. The Gaels looked a long way off championship contenders today.

I'm sure the price is linked to encouraging people to attend in person where possible.
