Look at Kildare in this one so far, win or lose, and then you see Louth in the football. So much wrong at the top in Wicklow when you see a county that really knows what they're at.

I'm not going to criticise amateurs who dedicate their free time to work at club level or on yhe county board. I think there is good work being done but more work is required. In the past decade kildare have invested heavily both money and human resources in the county: hurling and football plus developing their county grounds. I don't see the same concerted effort in wicklow. I wouldn't just blame the county board, yes, they could produce better leadership and devise better structure but equally i think there's an issue or two at club level. Both kildare in hurling terms and louth in football are promising it is possible to make significant progress if there's a strategy and every gaa person gets behind it.

Pats have quality to come back. Including arguably the 2 best players on the county team. A good few lost to retirement in recent times but there is still good men hanging around. But they are a championship team.
Tough group but
I can see them in a quarter final. Then anything can happen!
