Having viewed the two teams in action Sligo are the better and strongest of the two Connacht finalists however one should underestimate the schedule that's strongly in Galway's favour.

The match starts at 6.30 but I believe that TG4 are showing a deferred coverage starting at 7.30pm. You might have to lock yourself away from all media for an hour if you can't make the match.

I'd agree with this. Not playing the cute hoor. If I thought we were better, I'd say it.
It's very difficult of course to judge at underage, but Sligo look a better outfit. Looking forward to a good game either way.

Three big games coming up in the next 4 days. The seniors will beat New York . Enough said. On Friday evening our minors play Leitrim in a must win game. Failure to win leaves us with a very poor chance of getting to the semi final. Is it possible for us to get back to back titles at U.20, a grade along with U.21 that we never before won a title?. However it's going to be very difficult to beat Galway in Tuam Stadium (thankfully not Salthill) The last evening a few lads really raised their game to a new level and scores came from all over the pitch. If we replicate that performance we will win.

I would certainly take an under 20 win tomorrow over a win against NY on Saturday. Best of luck to Paul Henry and his team, I really hope we can show up and play to the level we did against Mayo.

If TG4 can't stream the game live then why are they bothering at all? Why not let Connacht GAA stream the game

Who watches deferred coverage of a game

Ridiculous, at least they could stream it live on YouTube.

I'm going to answer my own question, the game is live on the TG4 app, get the chrome cast out and mirror it to the tv or just watch on an iPad

There's a TG4 Smart TV app too. A mighty job.

In that case I can only apologise to TG4

Looking forward to this one. Conditions will be decent so hopefully that leads to a good game of football.

Best of luck to Sligo later, I watched them in the Hyde against our lads. Very impressed with the off the ball movement and the quality scores from distance. To me it shows the importance of what high quality coaching can do within a core group. It drives up the quality of football within the group an allows the star players to shine on the day. Number 15 for Sligo was a joy to watch. Hopefully he can stay injury free and make a substantial impact with seniors.

Well done Sligo on retaining the U20 Connacht title. Real gritting performance and did really well to find the energy to score the final 3 points of the game. Got some luck with Galway not taking those goal chances but luck deserved after given totally unfair schedule by the Connacht GAA. (Galway two weeks to prepare and Sligo 3 games in 2 weeks very showed today)

The best ever performance from a serious bunch of players. What resilience shown to keep clawing back, never giving up and ultimately doing the triple crown. Beat the 3 big dogs, all away from home. These lads over the last 2 years have seriously lifted the profile of football in the county. Our supporters outnumbered Galway. Congratulations to the entire panel of players and management.

Well done to Sligo. Well deserved and a great game. Would be great to win an All Ireland.
Sligo football on the crest of a wave and absolutely going in the right direction.
Cork or Kerry will be a tough challenge , as they are the real big dogs of u20/21 football with 12 and 10 titles respectively.
Galway , Tyrone, Mayo, Dublin are next in line with 6,6,5,5 titles.
All Connacht will be rooting for Sligo.

I'd like to echo this. A huge achievement and did it the hard way with the toughest draw possible.
I've been very impressed with this team. It would be brilliant to see them go another step or two.
Congrats to the players and all involved who have done immense work to get them to this stage.

Well done Sligo. Something is happening in Sligo football which will benefit your senior team in the near future. All the best in the all Ireland semi final.
