I'm (and the rest of us Donegal folk) struggling to understand your odd obsession with a member of our executive. Both weird and sad.

What has this to do with a member of executive? Can I not say what a strange announcement online. I think Donegal have a fantastic chairperson so I think your comment is both "weird and sad"

I cannot believe a Monaghan person taking so much interest in Donegal affairs. You must have a lot of time on your hands?

I think Four Masters v Glenswilly is an interesting match. All depends if the great man makes an appearance or not I think. From memory last year, these two teams had a right battle, but Murphy powered the Glen men through.

Downings and MacCumhaills will be very close as well. Has Gallen recovered from his injury?

You'd have to fancy the favourites in the other two games. It would be great for the Championship if Kilylbegs and Termon could produce a shock."
One down....

Big shock Eunans getting knocked out, but I always through they lacked the steel of old Eunans teams.
As regards Naomh conail, first big performance this season against killybegs. They looked like a team that knew it's knockout football now and we're much more aggressive in the tackle and attack.
They will face tougher opposition, but they looked like a team on a mission yesterday, they need to stop conceding goals however.
I fancy gweedore myself, big mobile and have that hunger.
Championship is wide open, should be good quarter finals.

Championship wide open now. Division One and Two champions Termon and Dungloe both look good value for money. I was hot on both at the start of Championship, but Termon failed to impress in groups, and Dungloe looked like they might just lack the firepower. Eunans and Naomh Conaill have clearly disimproved from last year, whilst Gaoth Dobhair, Dungloe and Termon have clearly improved. Been a year of noisy neighbours, so depending on the draw, my prediction would be a Dungloe win over Gaoth Dobhair in the final.

I wouldn't write Eunans obituary for this year just yet...

Oh please. Would be a joke if they won an appeal and it went to a replay. The player was leaving the field

I'm not a Eunans man but they're more than entitled to appeal. 16 men is 16 men. The guy that came on scored the point so they have a decent case. Will be interesting to see what they do.

My main worry is if Eunans appeal, will it hold up the championship.
I think every club has a right to appeal if the rules were broken, but hopefully a quick decision can be made.
Me personally, I believe games should be won on the field, and termon won on the field.
I said the same thing previously when my club was involved in both scenarios.
Sometimes clubs decide to appeal just to make a point like my own club did years ago, as they were annoyed of the County boards attitude with them, they let the championship continue, but continued in the background with an appeal to croke park. And won the appeal.
But we were beat on the field, and I accept the defeat.
Hopefully Eunans will do the same.

He was leaving the field but he was interfering with play as Eunans still thought he was playing.
Their players clearly step toward him as if to track him.

Some big quarter final draws, all even games that could go either way.
Must admit I am surprised it was an open draw between all eight teams.
I would have through it would have been the 4 teams that were already qualified against the 4 winners over the wkend. But I suppose if you good enough you will win your game and no complaints.
My prediction would be a gweedore, naomh conail, dungloe and st Michaels for the semi finals. But would not be surprised if I was wrong in a few as there all hard to call
