Replying To rorysboys:  "There's one man who should have been asked to oversee the county under age set up. I don't know if he was asked. Maybe he was but probably not. Everybody knows who that is. That's all I'm saying"
I don't know who it is. Who are you talking about?

What do we make of Spillanes comments about the manager at the top level getting €120k

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Whatever about unearthing new forward options, I think a fresh voice on the sideline would be no harm either. Absolutely no disrespect to Neil, Colm or Luke - they have done a fantastic job. But a wee bit of freshening up, ideally from outside the county might give us from new impetus going into 2026. Maybe someone like Dessie Farrell? He has Donegal connections and has obviosuly managed at elite level before."
Whole heartedly agree, I feel it should be someone outside of the county as well. A fresh voice/coaching would do them the world of good, someone to maybe challenge Jim's thinking so be it. It has worked for Armagh and Kerry anyway. However, I don't think McGuinness would want that to be honest, the last time he had someone maybe question his training of the players was Rory Gallagher in 2013, they subsequently fell out and that was that. McGuinness is probably happy to have a few ''yes'' men on board and just leave it to him to run the ship.

I found it funny that some managers were so against the €20k stipend Burns was proposing. I mean, who wouldn't like an additional 20k per annum?

We all know the real reason they're against it though. It is what it is.

It's clearly not a Kerry manager on that if wage Pat Spillane is publicly shouting about it.

Indeed , Tom's team beat the Rossies in Carrick on Shannon (1982) to win u21 AI final and PJ's team beat Kerry at The Hyde in the 1987 final. Players from both panels featured in the 92 breakthrough team .. the most popular AI winners that I can recall as a neutral.

His comments are aimed at McGuinness I believe.

Well there's only one name that springs to mind. I'd well believe it as well!

Hopefully we'll see a bit more bite in the games this weekend.
I think Four Masters v Glenswilly is an interesting match. All depends if the great man makes an appearance or not I think. From memory last year, these two teams had a right battle, but Murphy powered the Glen men through.

Downings and MacCumhaills will be very close as well. Has Gallen recovered from his injury?

You'd have to fancy the favourites in the other two games. It would be great for the Championship if Kilylbegs and Termon could produce a shock.
