No one that bad your exaggerating! Joking aside well done mullinlaghta full value for the comprehensive win. Mostrim proud of their efforts they just ran into a well oiled machine. Looking forward to seeing Mullinalaghta do everyone proud in Leinster again.

Mullinlagtha supporters will now concentrate on Leinster after actually winning the County Final. Unlike Killoe supporters who celebrated Leinster a few games back.

Congrats to Mullinalaghta, Killashee and Legan. Well deserved on all counts. Senior final was without doubt the poorest one this century and one of the worst I've ever seen. Some of the finals against Abbey in recent years were hard stuff to sit thru for spectators, but yesterday was garbage in parts. Very poor standard of football, it pains me to say. But a win is a win is a win I suppose and not to take away from the achievement of winning a county title.

I see the usual anti-Killoe trolls hard at work on this forum as usual with their anecdotal nonsense and invented lies that "a lad in Dublin" or "a lad on WhatsApp" told them somewhere once which they gobbled up as fact. You'd have to admire their consistency of hatred, God love them. Football in the county is probably the way it is because of those sorts of so-called fans. Fair play to Killoe for getting past a tricky Colmcille side to stay top of Division 1.

Best wishes to Mullinalaghta, Killashee and Ballymahon in their Leinster campaigns.

I'm only having a laugh. Sure how could anyone come close to the Killoe supporters arrogance bar one or two of them

Poor old Killoe supporters can give it but not take it. Maybe when they learn to have manners they won't be despised. Some of the things I've heard them say about opposition players is disgraceful. They must of been thought that at the pray meetings.

Maybe a good mass will help the Killoe boys after all this.

as i said to arcadia what i received on whatsapp was of an article that is still up, so it wasnt anecdotal. killoe supporters like the pair of you are very edgy, you should be laughing things off after the last number of years of success

Would agree it was an awful final to watch. One of the worst. Mullinalaghta won't care (and why would they, they won and credit to them), but it was terrible for neutrals in the stand or on the hill. They might get past the Wicklow winners but would need a significant improvement to get much further in Leinster IMO.

Poor match alright. Congrats to Mullinalaghta, looked in control throughout. Result never looked in doubt.

No shame on Mostrim, they just came up against a better team, can't have any complaints. Out of interest - what age are the Coyles? Feels like they are around a long time.

Martin is probably 38 now. Is Fintan older?

I think Fintan could be 41 or 42.

I was thinking they might be late 30s or even 40. That's serious going, fair play to them. Between them, Hannon, Hussey Mostrim are not an overly young team.

Not a huge fan of Killoe's tact and diplomacy but they've been a consistently strong team over the last decade who deserve respect for that and who were blackguarded last year and the sneering at their religion is not a whole lot better than the Muppet Show episode from a few weeks ago.

I was 1 or 2 years out! Fintan is 40.

Agreed. The religious sneering is part of a nasty pattern by the same few users on here (imagine using the word 'despised' to describe an entire club, and thinking you should be taken seriously?). Most Killoe fans (of which I am one) know that any club has imperfect elements and moments, and know that most rumours pushed on here are nonsense. A few heads on here should dial back the bitterness a bit.

In the meantime i'm looking forward to football in December when Leader Cup stages get going, was glad to see Mostrim getting to the final and all the excitement it brought, and will be cheering on Mullinalaghta in Leinster.

Sneering at their religion? What's this in reference to?

there is more then enough to be critical of the behaviour of players and supporters from a football perspective without resorting to personal digs like there religion. its not on lads, we all like a joke and digs but thats not right

'there is more than enough'... Just can't stop yourself from your endless agenda against Killoe. Give it a rest. It is a successful club with well meaning people playing for it and running it. And it has some OTT fans, just like Slashers, Mullinalaghta and every other club in the county.

i have no agenda i respect quality football and i keep my comments strictly to football matters and there is more than enough. you said before at fans getting digs as a reason longford football is held back u should look at this year - junior final no show, u16 wild goose chase, and not selling any tickets for the longford draw this is all for the good of longford football so it leaves a sour taste when we have a big club pulling in the opposite direction to the rest.
