Was at the Ballymahon/Ballymore game on Friday, Ballymahon definitely pulled the rabbit out of the hat for that one as not many would have given them the chance to win by the 6 points needed, but they did. Came out very strong in the second half, took the game to Ballymore, which they seemed shocked by as they were anonymous for large parts of the second half. Kevin Diffley was a powerhouse for the Ballymahon outfit and the result and performance makes it a much more open knockout phase now. I believe its Kilashee V Ballymahon and Cashel V Ardagh/Moydow.

Carrickedmond just about got their QF spot with Dromard hitting the post at the death, that would have changed the outcome of qualification.

Clonguish very impressive again. Daniel Carey looks like another great prospect. They are playing a nice brand of football at the minute. It's theirs to lose. Apart from the Carrickedmond game which had some drama, it was a weekend of poor fare with some fairly dreadful performances.

Cashel probably favourites for the intermediate now. Why is there a 3 week gap until the Intermediate semi finals? Scheduling for intermediate and also for the hurling championship seems wasteful. Lots of big gaps with nothing happening. If it's down to limited numbers of referees, then surely these over-engineered relegation playoff circuses need a rethink!

As things stand... Clonguish for Senior, Cashel for Intermediate, Killoe for Junior.

Clonguish - Senior

Killashee - Intermediate

Killoe - Junior

Relegation totally been over complicated to try make up for last years crazy mistake.

Easy fix to this, 2 relegation semi finals - Losers both go down, mad having each team play 3 games!

I would say Kilashee are the favourites for the Intermediate. Cashel were lucky to get over the line in the end against Ballymahon in their Group game, should be strong enough to make the final at the expense of Ardagh/Moydow. The Kilashee/Ballymahon semi will be close if Ballymahon can pull out a performance like they had against Ballymore, to qualify, but Kilashee wont fear them.

Strange to have a 3 week gap alright, but I'm sure it will suit some teams over others if there are any injury concerns from the last group game etc.

Very disappointing from our lads, totally outclassed by Clonguish. Strangely I would say Rathcline have an easier quarter final facing Carrickedmond and Clonguish have the tougher game against Dromard despite the positions in the table.
Big win from Ballmahon, Kevin Diffley was excellent by all accounts.
There is no clear favourite for the intermediate, all sides are evenly matched I think, Killashee and Cashel to meet in a final would be a great rivalry game.
The junior competition looks like it will be Killoe winning against Clonguish in the final. Sad to see Legan struggling to keep with the second teams, do Legan go on to play in Leinster anyway?
The relegation is a farce the way it has been dragged out to keep these teams playing into the winter.
Looks like colmcille/killoe will face abbey/mullineachta, two excellent quarter finals on the Sunday for people to watch.
Mullineachta had a much stronger 15 out at the weekend are they peaking at the right time?
