Great win for longford minors!! First time since 2002 beating the dubs i read hopefully the same result at the end of the year"
I doubt the Leader would have a match report on our game against Grattans.......I also have not bought the Longford Leader in about 5 years!!!
Also, I was out of the country on a lovely Easter break for a few days, hence my delay in replying to your strange question.
I don't understand what your grievance is with me????
You are a strange auld fish Slasher9,.
I actually feel sorry for you with your stalker tendencies.....you need help my brother lol
I think I will just have to ignore you from now on as me replying to everything you ask, seems to enrage that problem of yours even more!!

Very tall order here. Im surprised Mccabe and Hughes got dropped, They had a good league campaign.

The Gaels are certainly missing some key players from a few years ago, but they should have it in them to reach another Intermediate final at a minimum.

Went as expected on Sunday. Meath operating at a different level, the goalfest near the end masked the gulf between the sides. Keep heads up I suppose and into Tailteann and see whats what. We always done better in the qualifiers than in Leinster (I won't miss it when they finally kill off the provincials!!!), so maybe there's a surprise in store yet. Minors might bring us all something to cheer about this year and in a rebuilding phase I suppose that's where the focus needs to be.

I was just looking on the CB website at the weekend and came across 2 senior games that did not go ahead and points were given to some of the clubs involved.
I'm not sure if this is a rule the last few years and I've been living under a rock but, Dromard are down as conceding a game to Granard in Div 1 and Kenagh conceding a game to Killoe in Div 2.
Dromard did not play due to a bereavement and the pitch in Kenagh was unplayable.
Surely both these reasons should be good enough for the games to just be re-arranged and not have Dromard and Kenagh who possibly could have been eyeing a league title having to concede the games?

It has been a terrible past couple of weeks across the county for bereavements. I hope the county board comes to their senses regarding the Dromard match. No team could play in those circumstances. Thoughts are with all those affected recently, football is not really important

Yeah I don't think that Killoe-Kenagh game was conceded. I expect it will be replayed, so not sure why the fixtures are showing it the way it is. Between the weather and the sad and unexpected bereavements over the past couple of weeks across the county, it has been a difficult time for lots, especially in the three communities impacted recently.

It's good to talk lads and lassies, never feel that you can't. Clubs are there for you if you need to lean on them too. Even on here where we cross swords all the time over stuff that doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things, we are all pointing in the same direction and want whats best for each other at the end of the day.

Both of those games will be played surely. It is hard to blame any club for having a pitch out of action. It feels like we'll never see a game played in dry weather again!!!

Abbeylara and Granard seem to be moving extremely well at the top of the league so far. Has anybody been to many games so far any stand out teams or players?

I wouldn't be reading too much into the league at this stage.....Clonguish and Killoe would be missing a lot of players due to county involvement. Although, Slashers been pointless after 3 games is a surprise as they don't have anyone to my knowledge involved with the seniors or under 20's.

I thought Slashers were decent last night, a good game against our lads. Good for us to get our first win. There isn't much respect for the league when so many county players aren't involved I think
