How was Jack Heslin a inter County player eligible for the Junior B final yesterday? Their team yesterday was very strong with the likes of Niall Woods , Padraig Gallagher and the two Cathals , Mc Crann and Quinn too.

Leitrim observer has good coverage of the other junior A semifinal with annaduff and st marys played last weekend!!!

I'm assuming it was because he missed opening round of club championship it's all about exploiting loopholes

correct, senior and inter clubs with teams in jnr b and c can play anyone outside their first 17 at any level.
However if their 2nd team is junior A and they come on in a knockout game, they cannot subsequently play for the junior A team again that year.

If Jack Heslin played inter county championship for leitrim this year that he would not have been able to play for gortletteragh second team. I can't remember him playing tho. I do remember him playing league games

i don't think it is. They cannot play league till inter county season is over (and are most likely named on clubs 1st team anyway- so a non issue) but I think championship is fair game

I'd be surprised if alot of clubs aren't looking for new managers. Bar about 4 or 5 clubs in both senior and intermediate the rest had disappointing years
St Mary's
Aughnasheelin
Leitrim Gaels
fenagh
Kiltbrid
I'd say would be happy going forward they have made progress in 2022 other than that a lot of sole searching is needed by clubs

I see the Allianz national league fixtures have been released for divisions 1,2 and 3. Has anyone seen the fixtures for division 4 released yet or know when they will be? So much depends on who you have at home and away and how many home and away games you have. I always look forward to seeing who we get where. If we get 3 home and 4 away games again then it's an absolute joke. We get shafted by this year on year.

Best of luck to St. Mary's, Carrigallen and kiltubrid ladies this weekend. All more than capable of winning their respective games
