Having seen them play twice, surely a couple of your minors should be on the Team of the Year!! Great prospects!

We only got one last year for reaching the 4 so were never going to get a couple with a last 8 exit based on how the judges appears to just focus on the All-Ireland final and semi-finals for their selection.

Saying all that such awards is meant to "honour the best individual performers from the entire season" so Enda Browne can consider himself unlucky to miss out.

Whoever picked that team probably only watched the semi finals and final.

Enda Browne was outstanding in the Connacht Championship and was the stand out player in Connacht. He certainly should have made the minor team if the year. Given the modern game he definitely is senior material before too long, but should not rushed.

Will the same selection criteria apply to the All Star TEAM OF THE YEAR? Surely Diarmuid Murtagh should have a great chance having had a great national league campaign and was also one of the top scores in the championship; including 1-10 against Mayo in Castlebar and 0-7 against Galway in the Connacht final.
His score/shot percentage was top class all year.

Do the selectors only view the matches in July?
We will see what happens.

Enda Browne was a huge loss v Derry. Diarmuid Murtagh was excellent but I don't think Roscommon got far enough in the championship for him to make the All star team. That's how it works fair or unfair.
