Not a shock win at all
MB,Oranmore,Claregalway,Corofin have always been very close at this age group.Never more than kick or two of ball.

Not for few more weeks.Its not straight West vs North.Cg won today and play Caherlistrane in Q/F proper and Salthill beat Dunmorw today and they play Oranmorre and winners of these games go on to play either MB or Corofin in semis.Alot of football to go yet.

Ahh, but sure Corofin have two parishes - Belclare and Corofin. With that catchment, and predominantly football, there's no excuse v potential clashes v Moycullen and probably Oranmore/Maree down the road.

At IC level, Dunmore, Tuam and Ballinasloe provided the main men. Corofin, for all their coaching development, end up with semi-robots, unfortunately not good enough for the top IC table.
