Replying To togoutlads:  "Hope the Gardai / Traffic Corps are out in big numbers to keep things flowing across town on Sunday. Ross and a lot of Galway crowd coming from the east side of town, of course, so the Tuam Rd, Headford Rd junctions, bridge, west side / rahoon will be jammed, unless they're out to keep the junctions moving."
Games seems to be sold out online at the minute so big crowd expected.

Ros will focus big time on Paul Conroy, Shane and Damo in line with the media narrative. We have many others of course who can really impact this game. Matthew Tierney is due a big one as has been quiet all championship. Sean Kelly another and McDaid could be our bolter. Serious athlete and commanded the centre space against Leitrim. Heaney is a gem and very consistent. Plus our defence are. getting better. If we play to our potential I expect we will get over the line.

Roscommon definitely with the motivation edge. Anthony Cunningham is still privately seething over his history with Galway GAA and is annoyed that due to politics he'll likely never be considered for PJ's current job, which he covets. Galway ending Roscommons season last championship has to be a huge factor also. Galway in turn should remember the disappointment of the league final loss. Their problem is regularly coming out so flat against Roscommon following putting so much effort into big wins against Mayo in the last 6/7 years. Even in 2018 they had a shocking first half and it took a bit of Walsh magic to awake them from the slumber. That has to change but they haven't proven that consistency yet

Is AC not miffed from his treatment when he was the hurling manager? I have never seen any indication that he covers the football manager's post as you put it or never heard of any conversation that he was in the running.

Time to get rid of Ticket Master. A lot of people had no option but to buy very bad tickets at the very end/back of the stand on line. Very good tickets were available in section D this morning between the 50 & 70 yard line. Not sure of why customers who are buying tickets very late are being offered much better tickets than people who attempted to buy them last week. Anyone with an answer please reply.

That's not down to Ticketmaster. The GAA always hold some of the best tickets for sale nearer the date. I've seen it on numerous occasions for All Ireland Quarter/Semi finals. It happened with stand tickets in MacHale park last month too.

Will seating numbers be enforced in stand. Normally don't care but have kids with me Sunday and expect a sell out

I see Colm O'Rourke has gone for Roscommon as they "have a very, very good forward line". It looks like Galway have no chance according to Mr. O'Rourke at least!

Strong and well balanced Galway team can see looking at it why they are favourites to win this Connacht final.

Allocations sent back from each county probably. And the very basics in selling - show them the bad seats first :-)

They'd better be enforced.

Do season ticket holders have an option to let match organisers that they won't attend and free up any seats reserved for them?

Not according to Colm O'Rourke, Tom O'Hara and some other commentators. Looks like the Rossies have it in the bag and just need to turn up!

Ya I noticed all the pundits are going for Rossies. Best of luck to them.

Patrick Kelly is a great addition. Earned his place. My only worry is it removed an impact player off the bench.

Most are pleased when O'Rourke tips the other team, he knows next to nothing about Connacht football. who is Tom O'Hara? Of the previews i listened to Eammon O'Hara has tipped Galway as did Cian Mackey, all on the smaller fish podcast did, Paddy Andrews,James O'donoghue and a very clued in Paul Rouse who i might add tipped Roscommon to win the NFL final but like the majority of pundits he's tipped the favourties Galway for this Connacht final.

Eamonn Fitzmaurice said it's a very tough task to beat the same team three times in the same year.

It will hardly be a one-sided game like the Munster and Leinster finals today. Lets hope it's a good game of football, tight and fair with lots of good scores and skill.

Sligo real lucky to bring that game tonight against London into extra time. The Rossies struggled against that Sligo side 1st half.

Galway got a record margin victory over Leitrim and today Leitrim had impressive win against Antrim. There is no doubt the form lines is with Galway and certainly deserve the favorite tag.

Hopefully it's a good quality game and shows Connacht football is in a good place.
