Just wondering if anyone saw the Laochra Gael programme on Kieran Fitzgerald? What a great player he was and an absolute gentleman. Do you follow Pomeroy Plunketts much lol? Also I double checked and Frank Burns has never received an inter County straight red before. Now I know Tyrone have been no angels over the years but Frank Burns is simply not a dirty player. I'd be surprised, they are very good without any additional players from outside and have a number of strong underage players coming through, these things seem to get exaggerated by individuals. On the other side of this discussion, bigger towns will always have an influx of external people joining, they move to these areas and settle with their family. The clubs can't prevent this happening." I'd agree with your point in general, but the issue in some cases is that players transferring aren't living at all in area. They may be living in Galway, for example. It's up to the clubs and the GAA after all, but it does have an impact on the community aspect of club football.
