Replying To Wally:  "But he not a dirty player. Can you name one other dirty incident that Frank Burns was ever involved in?"
A few at club level and he was sent off in Tuam a few years ago for a few dirty hits...

Just wondering if anyone saw the Laochra Gael programme on Kieran Fitzgerald? What a great player he was and an absolute gentleman. His relationship with the Meehans from Caltra and their late sister in particular was very moving and emotional for him.

That's just straight up lies! Name the club incidents he was involved in. Do you follow Pomeroy Plunketts much lol?

Also I double checked and Frank Burns has never received an inter County straight red before.

Now I know Tyrone have been no angels over the years but Frank Burns is simply not a dirty player.

You just sound desperate cause you made a spiteful and untrue statement which you cannot follow up with facts.

A few dirty hits which eventually got him a red card.. Red is Red whether its two yellows or straight...
I was at that game in Tuam and trust me he deserved it....
Yes I would be familiar with Pomeroy and know Frank has received straight Red for them before...
And yes I was there on Saturday when he got another straight Red..
But heh he is grand , not a dirty player !

You're correct. Not how I'd want to win a title but each to their own.

Give me the Corofin way - tactical fouling in the middle of the field and then delaying the kick - any day.

I'd be surprised, they are very good without any additional players from outside and have a number of strong underage players coming through, these things seem to get exaggerated by individuals. On the other side of this discussion, bigger towns will always have an influx of external people joining, they move to these areas and settle with their family. The clubs can't prevent this happening.

I'd agree with your point in general, but the issue in some cases is that players transferring aren't living at all in area. They may be living in Galway, for example.
It's up to the clubs and the GAA after all, but it does have an impact on the community aspect of club football. Players moving into a town or village and playing for the local club, nobody has an issue with.
