Lads Wexford are no world beaters. Sadly neither are Galway.

It'll be tight but I think home advantage will swing it.

Replying To Viking66:  "Shane Reck. Even kept Tony Kelly to just 2 points from play in our championship game against Clare last year. Hes out for the whole Round Robin. Agree as regards Liam- I'm not rushing to the bookies to back either of us. If either of us win Leinster then we will be in a semi from where anything can happen. If either or both of us dont win Leinster I'd say we will be doing very well to get to an AI semi at all tbh."
Lets put it like this viking - if Galway show any improvement on last year's championship no show it will be a bonus and I'm sure you feel the same about Wexford after Davy's last couple of years!

Its mad reading this and talking to lads at the club how low everybodys expectations are for this game among both sets of supporters. Or maybe not low exactly but completely uncertain what to expect.

Acid test Saturday. lets see where this team is at. 3 from Galway Kilkenny Wexford and Dublin will emerge...and i fancy Kilkenny and Dublin to take up the 2 spots, who takes the third in your honest opinion

Bit of a cliche I think, this notion of a semi being 'where anything can happen'. The vast bulk of semis that I've ever seen, in any code, at any level, have been won by the team favored to do so.

If Wexford & Galway are 'uptight' about their prospects in Leinster at this stage, it wouldn't be wise for them, imo, to head into a semi in a couple of months expecting that 'anything can happen'. If they're so bad that they need to worry currently about progression from Leinster to a semi, it seems very likely they'd struggle versus the cream of munster at the semi stage anyway.

Hard to see Galway emerging. A team that begin running out of steam in July/Aug 2018 is barely clinging on. The players who have stepped in haven't filled anyone with a great deal of confidence.

Maybe I'm a dreamer but am I the only one who thinks that galway are capable of beating any team in the country on their day, bar limerick?
I don't think we'll win an all Ireland by any means but with a kind draw we could be there on all Ireland day imo.

Agreed the favourites usually win. But not always. 2019 KK beat Limerick for example. If either if us get to an AISF, a big if, we are likely to be underdogs. So I think saying anything can happen is better than rolling over and giving up because we arent favourites.

time will tell........... Galways year hangs on Saturdays result and others can sugarcoat it any way they want. A loss and we wont be in the top 3. We arent good enough to beat Dublin or Kilkenny plain and simple

I actually think Galway will beat both Kilkenny and Dublin and are my tip to win Leinster. I give wexford a chance on Saturday purely due to the game being in wexford park.

Wishing Galway the best on Sunday (will also wish Wexford the best on their forum). I can't see Galway beating Kilkenny, but there'll only be a puck of a ball between yourselves and Wexford. I think Galway will shade it (WEXFORD 1-23 VS. GALWAY 2-22). I also can see a draw between Galway and Dublin (GALWAY 1-25 VS. DUBLIN 2-22).

But isn't it a great thing that so many games are so much up in the air, that no-one can really predict who'll either win or lose?

I think you have every chance of beating Dublin and Kilkenny

I'd say they would prefer that luck on Saturday.....

Great first half from Galway but they need to be further ahead. Sigh.

Can't get over how poor Wexford are. Just shows you cannot base anything on the league.

Great performance so far, the wides a worry.

I'm totally disgusted. Feels like a loss to me. Should have won very comfortably. Sickening.

Disappointing draw in the end and it feels like a loss. Like I said before Galway and Wexford are 2 bang average teams and neither will be within an ass's roar of an AI.
