Win is a win and thankfully a good win. Thanks to Kerry for the hospitality and best of luck next year. Hopefully mikey and Dunbar aren't too badly injured. The exact sort of unfussy, dominant win I'd expect for a team with our aspirations. If the bans to Hayes and Duggan aren't overturned (it'll be a farce if they are), and if the rumoured injury to TK is legit and he is absent too, I fancy our chances. Job done. Roll on next Saturday. Can't wait. Clare will be favourites and rightly so based on their championship performances but you just never know….. One negative today was the referee. I don't like criticising them but johnny murphy is so poor . Imagine if him refereeing a game like last week's Munster final. There'd have been no one left on the pitch! Safely through and we racked up a big score. Kerry stayed with us for about 20 minutes but after that only one team in it. Now that potential banana skin is out of the way we can plan and plot the downfall of the banner men. That game will be a massive challenge but if we play with full intensity i think we can rattle them. Of course a lot will depend on how we manage Tony Kelly. Good to see Mikie Dwyer playing so well. Seems to be growing in confidence all the time. Hopefully Dee will be available next week. If he doesn't play his loss would be immense and would severely lessen our chances of victory. Thing is though, we are now in the quarter final. A place very few of us thought possible a few weeks ago. Loch Garman , with heart and hand. We will have a fair idea where Munster hurling is at after next Saturday. All the talk all year of the last placed team in Munster would win the leinster championship, well the 2nd team in Munster are playing the 3rd team in leinster and vice versa so the bragging rights will well and truly be laid out for everyone to see! Two lads being banned for Clare (rightly in my opinion) will galvanise the team and ensure there is no headache from Munster final loss. Rory Hayes replaced by Cian Nolan who had a super game against Waterford and Shane Meehan to come in for Duggan. Aidan McCarthy back too which is a huge boost. Wexford building nicely for Clare next week. Played really well against Leinster champions Kilkenny and a very polished performance against a below par kerry team it must be said.
