Think Kilkenny had 16 men on the field, a sub came on but no one went off.

Not quite, according to the GAA website. There can be no repeat pairings of provincial finals and where possible pairings of teams that have met each other already should be avoided (I'm paraphrasing what it says). That suggests that if Dublin and Cork reach the semis Limerick will play Dublin and Cork will play Wexford.

Perhaps.......but I don't think we will have to worry about such permutations. Tipp will beat Dublin and Cork should beat KK.

On properlymoderated fora posters like this one would be told to move on. They are usually teenagers, have no contribution to make to topics bar silly WUM efforts.

An immamture juvenile who hasn't come to terms with Limerick winning all before them and Galway hurlers going out of the championship.

What mature person uses several exclamation marks and calls Limerick 'Lummerick'? Time this prize A gobsh*te was sent packing mods?

You wouldn't be tolerated on other fora.

Spell it out clearly for you, just you. Not any other Galway poster. You LOST the all Ireland to Limerick last year. You're OUT of the hurling championship this year.

I had my doubts during the week about Wexford but took the chance!"

Replying To ballydalane:  "Richie has had problems with his back for the past year or longer, it's unlikely he'll ever get back to a full 70 minutes of inter county championship hurling, but he was surely worth a ten minute cameo yesterday."
What exactly is the story with his back Ballydalane?

Usually someone of his stature would be safe enough from back problems. If it's not going to improve you'd wonder, brilliant player that he was, is he taking a subs place from someone who could be developed..

Replying To Breezy:  "What happens if both Cork and Tipp or Dublin and KK qualify would it then be a open draw as repete clashes are unavoidable or is it already set that the winner of the Leinster prov runner up game faces Munster champ in the semi?"
If Kilkenny beat Cork they play Limerick (Munster Champs play Leinster runner ups) If Tipp beat Dublin they play Wexford. Of course that also depends on Laois or Westmeath not causing an upset.

Kk vs Cork in Thurles and of. It suits the players and the fans.

Dublin vs Tipp in portlaoise. It would be packed and again suits players and fans alike."
To say that Dublin gaa get enough games in croker, i think maybe you should have said the Dublin footballers get enough games in croker, Jack, as certainly the hurlers do not.
First time in 9 years the quarters are fixed for croker.

Don't know the exact details, he has had to come off early and even missed some club games earlier this year with his back. It's a very debilitating injury. But if he's deemed fit enough for the bench, to my mind he should be ok to play at least 10-15 minutes. Even if he's not as mobile as he used to be, he's such a clever hurler that he knows where to be, gets on so much ball and uses it so intelligently. Similar to Cha Fitz a decade ago.

Watching the Kilkenny forwards play like a bunch of under-13s with their decision making and shooting last Sunday, it was hard to watch and not think that Richie couldn't improve the situation. Of course, our tactics of hitting it high, long and hopeful into the forwards at every opportunity is probably the least effective use of Richie's talents (although he wins more ball in the air than any player his size has right to).

Kilkenny seem to have played through the lines with short passing and running for the last couple of years alot more than they used to . Your league win over us last year and comeback in Nowlan Park in the championahip last year featured a much shorter running and passing style. You reverted back to the long ball last weekend and I dont think it did you any favours.
