Any predictions for this weekends League games. Do we think all the talk about ticket price increases will have an impact on attendances in comparison to last year? SlipperyDodger (Cork) - Posts: 93 - 26/01/2019 17:50:38 2159723 Link 0 |
I doubt it will have much influence on attendance in my opinion

Over 10,000 in Castlebar, despite the atrocious weather. That's a decent crowd to start the league. football first (None) - Posts: 1259 - 26/01/2019 22:26:15 2159802 Link 0 |
Great crowd but not surprising considering mayo and Roscommon are too well supported teams. Hopefully when we meet in da summer it will be a better game. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11550 - 27/01/2019 00:03:48 2159816 Link 10 |

Great to see such strong attendances. Hopefully, this will continue next week. I expect 10,000 + in Pairc Ui Chaoimh next week! SlipperyDodger (Cork) - Posts: 93 - 28/01/2019 21:44:16 2160572 Link 0 |
Talking to a few season ticket holders problems in Castlebar with attendance records, those who entered turnstile 1 didn't have their attendance recorded, bad enough sitting in a hurricane and rain getting soaked and frozen never mind arriving home and seeing that your attendance wasn't recorded, new year same nonsense, why don't they give up either a paper receipt or an instant email/text message to show that everything is recorded correctly, at least you can try to sort it out on the day instead of having to email Croke Park and arguing your case days later riverboys (Mayo) - Posts: 1389 - 28/01/2019 21:45:58 2160575 Link 0 |

A lot of people had their season tickets bought before the price hike and I'd say limerick hurling fans would have gone mad for season tickets this year with their team doing so well.

8,539 at Limerick v Tipperary tonight . Good enough crowd on a freezing night in limerick with rugby match on the tv as well . The ground was actually frozen for a finish up -like concrete . OpenStand (Limerick) - Posts: 736 - 02/02/2019 22:28:55 2161799 Link 1 |

Not sure about current finances but they used to say they needed 35,000 in Croke Park for opening it to pay on the day.
