The Buncrana Seniors and Reserves played Dungiven in the Ulster league on Sunday last at the Scarvey. The early season cobwebs were evident as the Seniors were slow out of the blocks and trailed by seven points at the break. The Buncrana team rallied and put in a much better second half performance but in the end the visitors were victorious.
The Reserves showed much promise especially from some of the younger players but like the Seniors they lost out to a better organised Dungiven team.
Their next outing is an away fixture to Loughmacrory on 10 February.
The Senior Hurling team play a challenge game against Na Mágha on Sunday next, 10 February, in Templemore in preparation for their Ulster League campaign.
