I can see us doing well in the O'Byrne Cup and then maybe beating KIldare but when we have a bad performance or lose a game people will be back giving out." I take that on board Barney, but I suspect every one on here is in it for the long haul. I'm aware there'll be peaks and troughs, like there are under even the best of managers, but positivity creates positivity. Unwarranted negativity offers nothing. Some of the early signs look good and generally, among fans there seems to be a buzz. Long may it continue, but we'll be there regardless! Its completely harmless posting predicted teams. Whats wrong about getting excited about the team you support, god forbid. Definitely some positives in the last few games, I think Laois will certainly provide better opposition for us and quite honestly I don't mind if they beat us, this time of year is about getting lads fit and trying out new players. Then the League will be a totally different animal, it'll be very interesting to see how we get on against better teams, with something at stake. I have been to all the games and some of the green shoots I see- -We have a decent keeper that allows us to to build from the back - improving defence with better tackling against admittedly weak teams - we haven't lost a second half yet - players appear to know their role -- some great support running - delighted to see fast direct ball in to forwards - Donal lenihan may have a part to play yet - Graham Reilly as Captain could be a master stroke - overall we seem to be better organised in games Still big question marks on - Full back Midfield Freetaker Inside forwards bert09 (Meath) - Posts: 1859 - 12/01/2017 21:41:59 1945320 Link

Reilly and O'Sullivan flanking him could be interesting.Hopefully Bobby has really start to show his potential.
