The Down SFC semi-final line-up is complete after Burren easily accounted for Glenn in the last of the quarter-finals on Monday night.
Burren will face Carryduff with holders Kilcoo meeting Corduff in the other last-four tie in what is a repeat of their recent Round 2 clash. Despite fielding without ACL victim Danny Magill and Armagh defender Paddy Burns, Stephen O’Hare’s charges cruised to a 4-16 to 0-11 victory under the Páirc Esler lights.
Glenn were the better team early on, but a Ryan Magill goal against the run of play sparked Burren into life and they went on to lead by 1-9 to 0-5 at the break.
Further majors from substitute Donal O’Hare and Liam Kerr along with an Oisín Murphy own goal made things very comfortable for the winners in the second half.
