All-Star forward Rian O’Neill has not been named in Armagh’s squad for tomorrow’s All-Ireland SFC group stage opener against Derry at the Athletic Grounds.

The Crossmaglen Rangers clubman, who has yet to feature for the All-Ireland champions this season, did travel with Kieran McGeeney’s squad for their Ulster SFC final against Donegal two weeks ago, arriving at St Tiernach’s Park off the team bus with his gear bag and took part in the team's warm-up before the extra time defeat to the Tir Chonaill men.

However, he has not been named in the 26-man matchday panel for the Oak Leafers’ visit this weekend for which McGeeney has made two changes from the loss to Donegal.

Peter McGrane and Jason Duffy come into the starting line-up, with Callum O'Neill and Greg McCabe dropping to the bench where Conor Turbitt and Stefan Campbell are also named.

Throw-in at the Athletic Grounds is at 5pm.
