GAA on TV: Nine games to watch live on bumper weekend of championship action

This weekend sees a host of championship clashes for GAA fans to tune into live.

Saturday sees All-Ireland champions Kerry entering into the fray as they commence their Munster SFC title defence against Clare (2pm). GAA+ is set to provide live coverage from Ennis and will also be showing the Connacht SFC semi-final between Leitrim and Galway (3.30pm), as well as the Ulster SFC quarter-final between Fermanagh and Armagh (5.30pm) and the Leinster hurling championship second round clash between Kilkenny and Wexford (6.30pm).

TG4 are set to carry the Ladies Munster senior football championship opener between Cork and Tipperary at Pairc Ui Rinn that evening (7pm).

On Sunday, the Munster senior hurling championship resumes with holders Cork hosting Limerick (2pm) at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, where RTE’s cameras will be, with the later game down south seeing Waterford and Tipperary locking horns at 4pm. GAA+ will be showing that one, along with the Ulster senior football championship quarter-final between defending champions Donegal and Down in Letterkenny (3pm), while RTE will be in Castlebar for the crunch Connacht SFC semi-final between Mayo and Roscommon which throws in at 4pm.
