Stephen Rochford will be involved with the Tullamore senior footballers again this year.

Rochford is returning as part of Paul McConway’s management team as the Blues set their sights on securing a four-in-a-row of Offaly SFC titles. Eyebrows were raised last summer when the Crossmolina native joined the Blues as a coach just a few weeks after he had acted as interim Mayo manager after Kevin McStay stepped away for health reasons. He previously managed Mayo when they lost All-Ireland finals to Dublin in 2016 and '17, having guided Corofin to All-Ireland club glory in 2015. More recently, Rochford had a spell as Donegal coach.

In what was former club and county star McConway's first year at the helm, Tullamore went on to retain the Dowling Cup and beat Westmeath champions The Downs before suffering a sobering Leinster club SFC semi-final defeat to Ballyboden St Enda’s.

Tullamore have also announced the reappointment of Shane Hand as their senior hurling manager. Surprisingly replaced as Kilcormac/Killoughey supremo following their 2024 Offaly SHC success, Hand returns for a second season in charge after coming close to leading the much-improved Blues to the knockout stages in 2025.
