Local firm TEG is the new main sponsor of Westmeath GAA.

Based in Mullingar and fronted by The Downs stalwart Tommy Kelly, TEG is a precision engineering company working in the pharmaceutical and aviation industries. It already holds the naming rights to Cusack Park.

While TEG's logo will now adorn the front of the maroon jersey, it remains to be seen if another local company, Writech, will continue as sleeve sponsor. TEG replaces French car manufacturer Renault as the Lake County's new main backer.
