The draws for the quarter-finals of the Ulster minor football championship have been confirmed this afternoon.
Following their extra time defeat to Donegal at the Athletic Grounds earlier today (1-21 to 1-15), Armagh will face neighbours Monaghan in the last eight of the northern province on Sunday week at a Monaghan venue yet to be confirmed (throw-in 12pm).
The other quarter-final sees Down, who edged Derry by 1-11 to 0-12 in Downpatrick this afternoon, facing Cavan at Kingspan Breffni in seven days’ time (throw-in 12pm).
The winners of those quarter-finals are set to be drawn against Tyrone, who saw off Cavan by 0-19 to 0-13 in Omagh today, and Donegal who are straight through to semi-finals on Saturday, May 17th.
