UPMC Nowlan Park will host Saturday week’s All-Ireland U20 hurling championship final between Kilkenny and Tipperary.
Both counties have a home and away agreement, and it’s the turn of Kilkenny to host with the 2006 All-Ireland U20HC decider having been held at Thurles’s Semple Stadium.
Kilkenny defeated Dublin by 2-21 to 0-17 in Wednesday evening’s Leinster final in Portlaoise to return to the James Nowlan Cup decider for the first time in three years, while Tipp were 3-19 to 1-20 winners over Clare in the Munster final seven days prior as they return to the same All-Ireland final stage which they lost out to Offaly on 12 months ago.
Throw-in at UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday, May 31st is scheduled for 3pm and the game will be shown live on TG4.
