Heard George O Connor is coming out of retirement alright. I seen Bobby Rackard lining out at corner back for Oylgate Junior Bs this weekend aswell

The only reason I would back Rathnure would be to do with the amount of miles on the clock for this martins team in the past year. Inter football final last year,AI semi final in Hurling and then this year going to the Senior football final and semi in hurling. Don't get me wrong they are the most athletic team in Wexford but there will be a stage where even they run out of steam.

Rathnure like to play out from the back with short puck outs and it was this that cost them last year. ROC playing or not will also be a massive factor in this game. I would go for Martins win by 3-4 points and St Martins to beat Gorey in the final

Two local derbies for county finals, that Kilrush Davidstown scoreline is completely mad and is surely some sort of record, or close to it, fair play to Davidstown, that is some run they are on.

Tipping Gorey just about and hard to look past the Martins although I think Rathnure are well capable of putting it up to them.

Why they are the next best and can score goals , can score from distance ,have pace, kniw the style they want to play and are comfortable with it , they can also hurl ,have good first touch are confident in themselves and if martins are nt fully tuned in they could well get turned over .
I just fancy them tommorrow . If I m wrong u can gloat then .

That must have an epic game. Brilliant to win, heartbreaking to lose.

Davidstown on a unreal run. Two finals last year which they won. Two finals this year. Football final next weekend.

Cloughbawn barely getting over St. James aswell so it should be a good final. Cloughbawn in the football final also. Be interesting to see both teams attitude to the football finals next weekend considering they both would probably be classed as hurling clubs.

And the funny thing is that one of those things is actually true!

Or maybe even both, if the rumours about a shock starter for St. Martin's are to be believed :D

Im not gloating just shocked to see so many people fancy Rathnure, st martins county champions, leinster champions be there done that, Rathnure remains to be seen how good they are, Ferns gave them a good beating already

Very poor spectacle so far. Not sure if it's the way teams have set up or if the ref is whistle happy.

Very intense, no space for anyone which leads to a lot of bunching.

Two poor games from a spectacle point of view. Shels should have won my more Gorey disappointing yet again maybe they don't have the hurlers we thought they had. Second game constant stopping unfortunately Rathnure probably had the more hunger in extra time but missed free was a big chance for Martins in normal time. Martins missed Rory as was expected.

So Rathnure-Shels in Senior, Cloughbawn-Davidstown in Intermediate, Gusserane-Adamstown in Intermediate A, Rathnure-Gorey in Junior, and Gorey-Oulart in Junior B

Would guess that they'll have the Senior and Junior finals on the Sunday because Rathnure are in both

Could have Junior and Junior B on same day because Gorey are in both

Could do, would guess it could be one game on the Friday evening, two games on the Saturday, and two games on the Sunday

New Ross wouldn't be a bad venue for the Intermediate A Final but am guessing all games will be in Wexford Park

They usually try to mix higher level finals with lower level ones though.

Saw some close games over the weekend, plenty of effort, although quality was a little lacking. Will watch the Davidstown v Askamore game sometime today, seemingly the game of the weekend but I didnt get to see it.
Cant say any forwards really stood out in the games I saw, although it struck me there were a large number of frees which didnt help the games flow at all.

Yeah, but Junior & Junior B were on together last year all the same, because Rathnure were in both.

I expect the details will go online sometime today anyway. Or I might make a call in a few hours to find out.

In fairness to the lads they are on the ball when it comes to getting the fixtures for finals out early.
