Agreed… full of arrogance, some of them would rather watch a game from the high stool

Replying To HB245:  "People making jokes about Corduff dipping into the transfer market again for next season. The sad thing is, they most likely will be. I'd be amazed if we didn't see another transfer in next year.

All the talk coming into the game was of Corduff and Jason McGee which suited Clontibret down to the ground. Much credit to Francis Hughes who much like he did against Tommy Durnin last year, spoiled the party in midfield and won his battle with McGee. Brian Greenan also excellent. It makes for a very strong Clontibret midfield. They are the only team in the county that can compete (to some degree) with Scotstown in terms of sheer size and quality around the middle third. Killian Lavelle was best player on the pitch.
Also, how awesome it is to see Mansy still skinning defenders.

Listening to northern sound afterwards, a unique moment to come from the game was that Dessie Mone started the game alongside his 17 year old nephew Charlie.

Has MP O'Dowd transferred elsewhere? Would have been some addition to their forward line in the new rules."
Clontibret as underdogs suited them to the ground. They worried about their own game by the looks of it and played football. Hughes in the middle absolutely dominated McGee and like you said he done similar to Durnin last year when everyone was blowing about Tommy Durnin this and that. Greenan was also brilliant the other day, looks to have a new lease of energy from the last few years. Lavelle also looks good after a few injuries with county.

Scotstown still the team to beat but I agree, Clontibret always compete well with them in Championship. Lets hope we see this.
Dessie 41 and Charlie 17, quite the achievement. Charlie looks like the real deal, hopefully doesn't get burned out with too much football.
O'Dowd I believe doesn't play any football any longer. A pity cause he had the skill to take on defences.

This forum seems to been taken over by petulant children trying to have a laugh among themselves.

Never seen the likes of it in all my years on this forum first as a reader and second as a poster.

New accounts everyday posting seem to be trying to cause trouble.

All my years on this forum but your first post was late last year.. Seem to be a bit of a newcomer yourself? Kind of coming across as someone who'd look for planning permission to move his own furniture in his own house.. have a day off and give it a rest.

Would certainly make for an interesting inclusion, done great work for juvenile teams when involved with the development squads and minors.

Give it a rest? you seem to try cause divides all the time and cant decide if your from Emyvale or Truagh.

I suggest you make up your mind and put down the pint and start having discussions about football, alot of anger built up here obviously.

Thought you had been on this forum for a long time now farneyman21 clearly a complete lie and your just like the rest of these new accounts.. I'm a truagh man through and through. Sadly they fell short against Carrick in the championship but went up with the league.

His track record with club football and his failings with the Sem hardly make him an inspirational choice. I believe a lot of the older heads on the panel pushed against his inclusion in management teams gone by but they've moved on and the team probably isn't what it was so the county could be struggling to attract coaches of Morans calibre perhaps?

Was it after Banty part 2 the players went against him as team manager? Interesting choice from bannigan. Money an issue in not attracting a higher profile coach?

That's interesting, i know he was thought very highly of in Treemilehouse with the Seans lads.

I know he was also very well liked with the county minors in his time there, and as for the sem i dont think Jim Mc Guiness could save the sem, the talent just aint there.

Are Carrick the biggest bottle jobs in Monaghan football?
